"Just go for it; you'll only regret not trying": The journey to winning an SGS scholarship at Shanghai Jiao Tong University
From struggling to navigate an overwhelming amount of information, Cao Nhu Anh successfully secured the SGS Type A scholarship to study Media and Communication at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

✨ The journey to studying in China doesn't always start with a clear-cut plan. For Cao Nhu Anh, the early days were spent navigating a maze of online information. While there was plenty of data, finding what was accurate, detailed, and truly relevant to her profile was no easy task.
Nhu Anh had nurtured her dream of studying in China from an early age. The more she researched, the more she realized the biggest challenge wasn't a lack of information, but knowing which sources were reliable and which options were the right fit for her.
💜 During the application season, Nhu Anh began working with Tron Tru Hoi. What she remembers most is the team's support in refining her essays, answering her questions, and reviewing her documents throughout the entire process. From paperwork and school selection to scholarship guidance, everything gradually became much clearer.
For Nhu Anh, this made an application season filled with endless tasks feel much more manageable. Instead of struggling to juggle countless options on her own, she was able to focus on preparing an application that truly reflected her abilities and goals.
🚀 And that application season brought Nhu Anh more than just one result.
She received the Shanghai Government Scholarship (SGS) Type A and officially enrolled in Media and Communication at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Additionally, Nhu Anh also secured the Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC) Bilateral Program at Nankai University and was accepted into Zhejiang University.
From the days of having to filter through every source of information herself, Nhu Anh has now stepped into her dream university environment to continue pursuing her passion.

🌱 When she first started her life in China, Nhu Anh shared that she didn't experience much culture shock. The living environment and her friends were quite easy to adapt to. The thing that took her the most time to get used to was something very mundane: the food.
Used to the lighter flavors in Vietnam, Nhu Anh is still on a journey to find her own "go-to" dish. Experiences like these are a very real part of studying abroad. It’s not just about scholarships, top-tier schools, or lines of achievements on a resume; it’s also about learning to live independently, adapting to a new environment, and gradually finding a rhythm that works for you.
🌟 If she could go back to the moment she started applying, Nhu Anh would only want to tell herself one thing:
"Just go for it; you'll only regret not trying."
Perhaps this is also the most memorable takeaway from Nhu Anh's story.
No one can know for sure where an application will lead before actually submitting it. But if you have prepared seriously and that goal is truly important to you, sometimes all you need to do is give yourself a chance to try.
For Tron Tru, Nhu Anh's journey is a simple reminder: don't wait until you feel completely ready to start. Some opportunities only appear after you dare to take that first step.
