100% of Trơn Tru Mentors are currently master's or doctoral students at top-tier universities in China, with many holding impressive scholarship records. Having personally navigated the application, selection, and study process in China, our mentors provide guidance from the perspective of someone who has already walked the path our mentees are just beginning.
Admission and scholarship results always depend on many factors beyond the control of any consulting firm. Trơn Tru does not use "guaranteed admission" promises to persuade students, nor do we lower goals just to inflate our success rates.
We are committed to providing honest profile evaluations, building appropriate school and scholarship strategies, and closely monitoring your preparation so you can reach your full potential. To date, 100% of our mentees have been accepted to universities in China; nearly 86% have secured scholarships, including Chinese Government Scholarships, provincial scholarships, university scholarships, and other support programs. Some students have even chosen to self-fund their studies at institutions like Tsinghua or Peking University when that aligned better with their personal goals.

Trơn Tru uses a dual-mentor model rather than assigning your entire profile to one person. Each student is typically paired with a mentor who oversees strategy, working alongside a subject-matter expert aligned with your specific field and goals. Additionally, a support team tracks your paperwork, deadlines, and the overall application process.
This ensures that critical decisions—such as profile evaluation, school and scholarship strategy, essay direction, and interview preparation—are viewed from multiple perspectives rather than relying on a single individual. Each profile is typically supported by at least two mentors and a dedicated team throughout the application season, ensuring strategic alignment, professional depth, and attention to detail.
Free resources are incredibly helpful for learning about schools, scholarships, and the experiences of those who came before you. However, every success story is built on a unique profile, timeline, and set of goals, so not every roadmap can be applied to you exactly as it is.
Trơn Tru does not charge for information you can easily find on your own. Our value lies in reviewing your profile with you, identifying your strengths and gaps, selecting the right schools and scholarships, and building a personalized roadmap rather than copying someone else's formula. Our goal is to help you avoid unnecessary trial and error and make the most efficient use of your application season.
Trơn Tru is not afraid of profiles with a low starting point. You may not have a high GPA, many achievements, or the confidence to aim for top-tier schools yet. What matters more is whether you are ready to change and dedicate the time to build up the areas you are currently lacking.
It is difficult for us to work with students who set very high goals for schools and scholarships but are unwilling to study, earn certifications, participate in activities, conduct research, or address weaknesses in their profiles. The higher the goal, the greater the level of preparation and effort required.
Trơn Tru believes that your starting point does not determine your destination. You may start behind others, but as long as you are serious enough to take steps forward, you can reach where you want to go.
Yes. Trơn Tru doesn't just work with already strong candidates. In previous seasons, the team has accepted many mentees who had not yet earned their language certifications, lacked significant achievements, or had relatively thin profiles.
What matters most to Trơn Tru is whether you have the time, clear goals, and a willingness to change. In practice, we have seen mentees significantly improve their language skills, research, extracurriculars, and overall application quality after a period of serious preparation.
After our assessment, the team will clearly outline where you stand, what you are missing, and how much time is needed to get closer to your current goals. You don't need to start with a perfect profile, but you do need to be willing to put in the effort required to reach your goals.
Trơn Tru Hội does not offer standalone essay editing. No matter how eloquent an essay may be, it cannot save a strategy that was misaligned from the start. A study abroad application is a cohesive whole: your CV, letters of recommendation, essays, and school selection must all be consistent and reinforce one another.
We only offer comprehensive support—from foundational strategy development through to final application submission—because that is the only way to create a truly "Seamless" application.
Our journey will consist of three distinct stages:
1. Analyzing the reality of your strengths and weaknesses. Designing a school selection strategy (School Spread) divided into three tiers: Reach, Match, and Safety Net.
2. Crafting your CV, deepening your essay ideas, and refining your letters of recommendation. Everything is built on your own story—no templates allowed.
3. Realistic interview coaching, a final review of all application components, and submission according to your personalized timeline. No rushing, no cutting corners.
We don't "assign" majors or force a direction on you based on sample essays, as that is a recipe for a fake and cliché application. Instead, through our initial "Discovery" phase, we act as devil's advocates: digging deep into your entire academic background, experience, and personality.
From that initial pile of raw, messy data, we will work together to find the brightest intersection to pin down a sharp research direction—one that fits you perfectly and carries the most impact for your target schools.
At Tron Tru Hoi, everything is 100% transparent. Unlike agencies that "gatekeep" information or hold accounts hostage to bind students, we share all account credentials and application progress with you openly. You have full access to read every word of your application and review everything before the "Submit" button is clicked.

We work using a "Discovery" method: digging deep into your personal experiences, challenging your ideas to find the sharpest perspectives, and then structuring and editing your writing to achieve the highest academic standard.
The core of your story must come from you. That is the only way for the admissions committee to see an outstanding candidate, rather than a copy-paste machine.
We dislike last-minute patchwork and understand that time pressure stifles the quality of an application. "Smoothness" comes from discipline, not last-minute luck. Immediately after our first strategy meeting, we will agree on a personalized timeline.
Our workflow is entirely based on this timeline: no unnecessary rushing, no panic-driven urgency, but it does require your commitment to stay on track. You will always know exactly what needs to be done each week and what milestones to hit next month, allowing you to enter the application season with complete peace of mind.
Ideally, 6 to 12 months before the application deadline (which usually falls between February and April each year). This timeframe allows us to strengthen your profile, prepare for certifications (HSK/IELTS), and refine your essays without the pressure of time compromising quality.
If you reach out close to the deadline, we will assess the situation on a case-by-case basis and only accept the project if there is enough time to deliver our best work.
This is a strategic mistake that causes many students to miss their "golden" window. The truth is: test scores are only a necessary condition (to get past the initial screening), while your story and overall strategy are what help you beat thousands of other high-scoring competitors. If you wait until you have your scores to start your application, you will be forced into a passive position and end up scrambling to put everything together in a panic.
Start as soon as you are serious about your intentions. We will work in parallel: you focus on getting your test scores, while we design the entire strategic framework, essays, and review all other components.
Yes, but with one prerequisite: we must be brutally honest in identifying why you failed. A rejection letter is not the end; it is data. In our first 1:1 strategy assessment, we will work with you to "dissect" your old application without mercy.
If the issue lies in a flawed strategy (choosing the wrong tier of schools, weak essays, or a disjointed profile), we will partner with you to turn things around. However, if your previous application truly hit the "ceiling" of your capabilities, we will tell you the truth so you don't waste any more money or hold onto blind expectations.
Yes. Because we intervene deeply in each individual's strategy, Trơn Tru Hội must limit the number of students each application season. We do not accept everyone in order to protect the quality of our service and the time dedicated to thinking through each application. Once we reach our committed capacity, we will close the list.
We do not offer "quick fix" services. A Trơn Tru Hội standard application requires time for deep exploration, refinement, and verification; it is not something that can be sloppily produced in a few weeks just to get it done.
If you reach out at the very last minute, we will evaluate your profile with an extremely rigorous lens. We would rather decline your service fee than let you enter the game with a patchwork preparation that guarantees failure.
The form on our website is not a "buy now" button; it is more like an application. Once we receive your information, we will analyze your initial background.
